ForgeKit ("we", "us") operates useforgekit.dev, a developer utility API platform. This policy describes how we handle personal and usage data.

Information we collect

Account data: GitHub OAuth profile (name, email, avatar) when you sign up.
API usage: Request metadata (endpoint, timestamps, credit consumption) for billing and rate limiting.
Payment data: Stripe customer IDs, payment method references, and purchase history. We do not store full card numbers.
Support email: Messages sent to [email protected] or [email protected].

How we use data

Provide and improve API services, dashboards, and billing.
Prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
Send product emails you opt into (lifecycle, usage alerts).
Comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

We use Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN/DNS), and optional analytics providers. Each has its own privacy policy.

Scanning & third-party content

When you use ShipVerify, Ship Bundle, link preview, screenshot, or PDF features, we may fetch URLs you submit and temporarily store derived metadata (titles, scores, headers) for up to 30 days for abuse prevention, support, and product improvement. We do not sell scanned content.

Data retention

Account and usage logs are retained while your account is active. Third-party scan metadata is deleted on a rolling 30-day basis unless required for billing disputes or legal holds. You may request deletion by emailing [email protected].
