Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2, 2026
By using ForgeKit APIs, MCP server, or dashboard at useforgekit.dev, you agree to these terms.
Service
ForgeKit provides developer utility APIs (screenshots, PDFs, OG images, QR codes, and related tools) on a credit or pay-per-use (x402) basis.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for illegal content or harassment.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, billing, or security controls.
- Do not scrape or overload infrastructure beyond documented limits.
- Respect third-party sites when using screenshot or preview features.
Accounts and billing
Free tiers include a one-time starter credit grant at signup. Credit packs are prepaid; x402 micropayments are final once settled on-chain.
Scanning, verification & scoring services
ShipPack, ShipVerify, Ship Bundle, and related tools may fetch publicly reachable URLs you submit. Results are automated scores, not certifications, warranties, or guarantees of search ranking, AI citation, or compliance. You must have authority to request scans of target URLs.
ForgeKit disclaims liability for decisions made based on scan output, mirroring industry practice for tools such as SSL Labs and securityheaders.com.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify ForgeKit against claims arising from your unauthorized scanning of third-party sites, misuse of generated files, or violation of applicable law.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeKit's aggregate liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to fees you paid to ForgeKit in that period. ForgeKit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Availability
We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" without uptime guarantees unless covered by a separate enterprise agreement.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
